Hand Cleaner Adapters

A Hand Cleaner Adapter is needed when a process requires periodic cleaning and steam/water cannot be used. This simple but effective solution is often used on acid applications. The adapter is designed so that the brush from the Hand Operated Cleaner can be extended and rotated directly over the prism.

The suggested orientation of the sensing head is on a horizontal plane for a horizontal segment of pipe. A vertical segment of pipe is also acceptable if the flow is in the upward direction. Maintenance plugs can also be installed for operation without the sensing head and/or hand cleaner installed.
